Between 18th and 20th of September 2023, the International Summer School on Industrial IoT with Examples is a summer course aimed primarily at ambitious students who are into understanding of technologies and tools for application development in the IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) environment. The school starts with presentations of the IIoT paradigm, and foundations (software / hardware) of internet data exchange.
IoT and IIOT make digital devices being internet present – they communicate with each other and with people.
The IIoT school participants will learn basics of IoT and IIoT. Then they will make a project where digital devices communicate in order to optimize their performance.
After successfully completing the IIoT school attendees will be able to:
– establish IoT and IIoT functionality on a simple microcomputer,
– establish a web server based on an http protocol using Node.js tool and JavaScript programming language, and
– use web interfaces (Application Programming Interface, API).
Lectures, laboratory exercises, practical assignments, individual learning and collaborative learning are methods of knowledge transfer in the IIoT school.
