The International Summer School on Blockchain Technology with Examples is designed for motivated students eager to explore the technologies and tools necessary for developing applications in a blockchain environment. The course kicks off with an introduction to Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT).
DLT facilitates structured and goal-oriented information exchange, enabling the creation of resilient distributed autonomous applications, such as blockchain-based transactions and digital file-sharing systems.
Participants in the summer school will first gain foundational knowledge of DLT. Following this, they will engage in a hands-on project where they will develop a blockchain-driven decision-making system, aimed at optimizing transaction processes.
Upon completing the course, attendees will have developed the skills to:
- Secure online communication using Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
- Implement a blockchain-based system to aid in decision-making processes.
The program employs a variety of instructional methods, including lectures, lab exercises, practical tasks, and both individual and collaborative learning to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
